Baby Shower:
Giving your best friend a baby shower? Think pinks and blues, diaper cakes and balloons. Skip the expensive cutlery

Backyard Barbecue:
In Alabama, no smell permeates the summer air more than a sizzling steak on the grill. Any good Southerner knows
that the perfect summer evening is spent with friends and neighbors in backyards and on patios, sipping on cool
libations and catching up, and awaiting the feast coming from the grill.
Backyard Barbecue Checklist:
- One Ribeye Steak per Guest (If you like yours rare to medium rare, ask one of our friendly butchers to cut yours 1 -2 inches thick.)
- One Ear of Corn per Guest (Corn in the husk is great for the grill. Wet the ear before placing it on the grill and rotate it every few minutes. For an elegant touch to your barbecue, peel pack the husk, leaving it attached to the corn.
- Wrap the husk in white linen napkins to serve. It makes it easier to eat, too.)

It's the first question people who move into our state get asked - what team are you gonna be for?

sporting event. (Tip: When decorating, this is not the time to hold back. Pull out all of your team's paraphernalia

- Boil the hot dogs until hot. Drain them and spread them on paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Place dogs in the buns and load on all the toppings.
- Wrap each dog in aluminum foil. Place in the oven at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
Poker Night:
Having the guys over for a night of games, cigars and ales - but need a food to put on the table? Bruno's prepares

Pool Party:
Southerners naturally tend to migrate towards the water during the summertime. With the hot air so thick it's near
suffocating, the only cure is to take a dip into the nearest pool. So it's no surprise that pool parties pop up all summer
long at the homes of those kids lucky enough to have a pool to call their own. But heat and swimming make for tired
and hungry friends, so make sure to have your poolside picnic ready when the splashing dies down.

Super Bowl Party:
Super Bowl parties are about more than just the game - it's about the ads and the food, too. Make your party a game
within the game by asking everyone to bring chili for a guest-voted contest. If you have some big eaters coming over,
throw a wing-eating contest during half time. Just make sure to bring the heat - and the meat.

For Your Winning Super Bowl Chili:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 cans (15 oz.) spicy chili beans
- 1 can (15 oz.) mild chili beans
- 1 can (14 oz.) fire roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 can (10 oz.) rotel tomatoes with chilies
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp Mexican chili powder
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- Brown meat, drain and return to pot. Add onion and garlic
Cook for five minutes (or until onion appears glassy).
- Add other ingredients and stir. Simmer for one hour. Serve.
